any time deadlines regarding the transaction date versus the time you report the problem. If you pay for the goods and then do not take delivery/realize there is a problem until after 30 days, many CC companies' policies will leave you high and dry. It is best to know before hand. DO NOT do a money order, if you can at all prevent it. It is basically the same as cash, with respects to protecting your interests. If you cannot arrange a good escrow setup or a live inspection and exchange, and you do not have a written guarantee, the credit card route (with a clear understanding of what the CC co. will do for you prior to getting into the transaction - it is in your agreement) is the best option.
